These fun classes are for our littlest dancers, aged 18 months to six years old.

 

Babes 18 months – 2.6 years 

Introductory class into jazz, ballet, free movement and song.  This class isn’t just for the babes, you get to join in too!  Each of our Little Empire dancers participates in this class with you or another adult that brings them to class.  This class incorporates props such as ribbon sticks, scarves, musical instruments, beanbags and hula-hoops.  There’s no concert for this class.(unless of course you the class as a whole decides they would like tp perform, which we did in 2016) 

 

When our Little Empire dancers are aged 2.6 - 3 years, they move into our Tiny & Kinder class. 

 

Tiny & Kinder 2.6 years – 5 years 

These classes focuses on styles such as jazz, tap, ballet, hip hop and song and involves storytelling and movement activities.  Props are also used in this class and students will work on a routine. 

We also have a singing & music session for this class where the kids will learn rhythm while using instruments & their voices.

 

All Little Empire class sizes are kept intimate so our fully trained teachers can give the students the attention they need.  

 

Little Empire dancers are encouraged to wear comfortable clothing (no denim) and are more than welcome to express their personal style, including fairy dresses! 

 

At Tecoma we have a viewing window in reception that looks into the studio for parents that would like to view class. We also have a wonderful cafe next door that make fantastic coffee! In the Basement Studio, we have big viewing windows from our Parents courtyard.

Mini Dancers 4 years – 6 years 

A good stepping stone into our Primary classes, the students still touch on everything they did in Tiny & Kinder classes, but we add some more technique & structure to prepare them for older classes.
